Tj started in the ski industry in 1983. He ski bummed at Stratton Mtn. Working nights and skiing every day. After that he moved to the Albany NY area and worked at Andy’s Sporting Goods. Andy’s was one of the last real full service sporting goods stores. TJ learned how to sell/service everything from bowling balls to ski gear. Then he moved back to Vermont to work at Stratton Sports in Manchester VT. Vermont was the place he wanted to be. Servicing and selling ski equipment in the winter and bikes in the summer. In the late 90’s he was recruited by Greg Hoffmann and Scott Thompson at Green Mtn Orthotic Lab, that’s were he met Nick Blaylock. He stayed at Stratton while Nick, Greg moved on to Vail Co. In 2009 , when Nick started Mount Snow Bootworks, TJ helped Nick get things going. Working part time with Nick and full-time at Stratton. In 2022 TJ reunited with Nick in Dover. It’s the best move he’s made in a long time.
TJ’s motto: You're not buying a ski boot, you’re buying a relationship . And he wants it to be a great relationship .
